I ordered the Forager Cinch Bag some months ago in Black/ Northwest Sky, with Ballistic fabric. That was my 3rd TB bag. But, TB sent me an email about a new color for a bunch of their bags, and when I saw the photos of the Forager in the limited-time-only Agave color, I fell for it instantly and ordered immediately. (As I type this in mid-July, the Agave is sold out.)
The Agave color is beautiful. This Forager bag is now my summer EDC. My black Forager bag will be for my winter EDC. As for features, one pocket is a little tight, but over all, the bag is great. There’s plenty of places to clip the included key strap (and for me to add more TB key straps I bought previously). With the included long strap, I can wear the bag crossbody if I want. I prefer the short handles, though. I love the handle snaps. They make the Forager look more ‘put together’.
There’s lots of room in the open main compartment for anything I want to carry. I like that the cinch top would keep rain off items inside the bag.
A couple of things I’m disappointed about— I wish the interior main compartment had one wide zippered pocket. And, I wish the interior lining choice with Agave could have been Fjord blue instead of Dusk gray. But still, I’m thrilled I was able to order the Forager in Agave.

This is a clever bag in a couple of ways. First, it's big enough to stuff in lots of things. But not big enough to get too heavy to carry around! Second, the cinch feature gives it lots of flexibility and stuff will not fall out. Also the cinch is easier than a zipper when it's dark. Third, it can stand up by itself. Fourth, I like the color! To be honest when/if it comes in fun colors I'll be very very tempted to buy it again!

I plainly have a Tom Bihn softspot as I have more than enough TB bags to survive, yet decided that the Forager needed to join them. I live on an island and so must use a boat to get to the bigger island where shopping happens. As such, I need bags that are sturdy, waterproof/resistant, not too big or too small, and multifunctional. The Forager hits all the sweet spots PLUS looks good. I love that it is expandable! Can be carried as a crossbody OR on my arm! Has a secure zipper pocket! And plenty of other outside pockets to tuck needed items into! Am happy happy happy

I take this bag when I'm going around my neighborhood and picking up small things here and there. It is not for going to the farmers' market to get your week's worth of food. Rather, it is for those occasions when you want just a few things. It is perfect. What I truly like is the ability to extend the flap up if more capacity is needed. It is very easily done.

This is a fun style and size, and I got it in the gorgeous new color Agave. The long strap it comes with is just OK; the buckle squeaks and with no shoulder padding, it slips off. I swapped in an old Absolute strap and it's just fine on the shoulder or cross-body. The handles are fantastic when you need to literally grab it and go quickly. I have yet to need to cinch it but would if it's raining or I need to carry something taller.
